UNIQUE RECIPES Honey Soy Pork with Kumara Mash

Just add:

  • 1 kg orange sweet potato, peeled and cut into pieces
  • 4 butterfly pork steaks
  • 160g KAN TONG® Honey, Soy & Garlic Asian Meal Base
  • Asian greens

Cooking Instructions

Place pork steaks and half of the KAN TONG Honey, Soy and Garlic Meal Base in a dish to marinate.

Place kumara in a large saucepan of water. Bring to the boil then reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes or until soft. Drain and mash.

Heat a non-stick frying pan until hot. Add pork and cook for 6-8 minutes each side or until cooked through. Remove from pan and leave to rest for 2 minutes.

Add remaining sauce to pan and simmer for 2-3 minutes until sauce reduces. Serve pork with mash and greens and drizzle with sauce reduction.
