KAN TONG Products do not contain any added Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) or 621. However, although we do not add any MSG to our products, they may contain naturally occurring glutamates
What is MSG?
Monosodium Glutamate is the salt derivative of glutamate a type of protein found naturally in foods like cheese, milk, mushrooms, meat, fish and many vegetables. Its is also produced naturally by our bodies and is vital for metabolism and brain function.
MSG is extracted from a variety of products and has been used for many years to enhance the natural flavour of salty and sour foods.
